Pros: | It can adapt lenses | Cons: | non | | Just a note for those that - like me - might stumble upon the apparent issue of the external knob hitting the pentaprism box on K1 camera. I spent an afternoon in dismay trying to understand what was that wheel for, since nothing was moving or getting tightened or released, while it kept hitting the box, preventing the adapter to lock. Even the original instruction - which I found out on internet - did not explain that clearly (I suppose that back in those days adapters where scanty and that was a common practice).
Shortly said: it allow to rotate the mount of the adapter that lock onto the camera in multiple of 90º. So in case it hits your upper part of K1 when you get it, release the knob holding steady the adapter, grab the K-mount with your fingers and rotate it to 90º or 180º. I was quite surprised when I discovered it, because none of my other adapters for K1 ever behaved like that!

Pros: | Build quality, compatibility. | Cons: | Knob hits mirror box on some DSLR camera models. | | If you happen to have both systems, this does the trick with the best absolute fit you can find. The only thing you have to keep in mind, is that the rotation lock knob can hit the mirror box while attaching it to some DSLRs. I learned that the hard way.

Pros: | sturdy, useful | Cons: | | | Excellent adapter, which I've used frequently. It is solid, and allows to use the excellent range of 645 lenses to be used on the digital cameras. No complaints.
I paid either 100 or 150$, I cannot remember to be honest, so I averaged it. It came from a forum member and was well looked after.

Pros: | build quality | Cons: | none | | I paid a ton for this directly from Pentax, but I wanted it fast. It was on backorder everywhere else. It is a solid piece of equipment that should last forever. I use it to mount my FA645 120mm macro and FA645 80-160mm on my K-7.
