Pros: works well on a good lens
Cons: do not know of any current lenses that are compatible

I've had good results with this converter on my 200mm SMCA ED macro and a Tamron 400mm f4 Adaptall II. Pity it cannot be mounted on any current lenses (SFAIK = certainly no Pentax lenses, but I'm not sure about aftermarket telephotos).

Pros: Build quality, magnifying factor 2x
Cons: Limited compatibility.

I bought this lens to use with my DA*200mm lens and it worked quite nicely. I had never used the catch in focus feature in my K-5, but it has worked great for shooting some wildlife photographs.

Pros: built quality and very few loss of picture quality
Cons: only for few lenses

After filing carefully the barrel , it fits perfectly with my pentax k 200mm f:2,5 giving a 400mm f:5,6 for a limited weight an with a good minimum focus distance.

for bright days adding a second converter k T6 2x gives a 800mm 11 for only 1,3 kg

So, I can already use it waiting a future 300mm 2,8

Pros: Works well
Cons: Slight loss of IQ

I got this recently at an auction, it came with a A-400mm 5.6. The $100 price is an equal share of the price of the lot it was in. The day after I got it, I saw one on Amazon for over $500.
This converter does exactly what it says on the label. My draw back is the only lens I have to use it with is the 400mm. It turns it into an absolute beast. I have had problems with a loss of IQ, but I think this is more to do with my lack of a suitable tripod for this combination and my desperate need for a focusing screen on my K20. Would I recommend it, absolutely. Would I buy at the Amazon price, probably not.
