The DA40 is simply the best lens I've used, bar none.


The color & tone rendering is spot on, the sharpness couldn't get much better and bokeh is smooth and pleasing. Physical size is amazing and makes for a great match on the K-x (or any body really), focus speed is very fast and focal length for my needs is near perfect. Build quality is typical Pentax Limited series; excellent.
