My workhorse lens, great all rounder.
Build quality is not as good as a * lens and it's a bit overpriced compared to the Tamron original

A great lens for headshots and portraiture it's main strengths are it's size and weight combined with it's snappy AF and nice colour rendering. Unless you believe in pixiedust it's maybe a little over priced and you should consider the DFA 100 as an alternative for headshots.

If I could only keep one lens this would be a contender......ultra sharp......compact......accurate AF.
AF can be a bit slow because of the size of the throw.

Awesome little lens that even performs well on the K-1 - Some are put off by the plastic mount but I think that the weight saving in this lens that you can genuinely put in a coat pocket makes it worth the trade off.

I got this lens as a kit lens with my K-S2 and I have always loved it......I have never had a lens that renders colours as nicely as this one.....it seems thought that not all copies are created equally.

I made a full review in video format at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q54QKPKp3bE but to summarise this lens is outstanding value for money and was excellent on my K-S2 but I didn't feel it was so sharp on the much higher pixel density sensor of the K-3 but was actually better on the K-1 than the K-3 I can only surmise due to the lower pixel density of the sensor.
