What's in the Box

The HD D FA 70-210mm F4 comes with the following components and accessories inside its box:

• The lens itself
• Front lens cap (clip-on, plastic)
• Rear lens cap K
• Lens hood
• Serial number card / warranty information / manual

The included equipment and packaging is underwhelming for a lens of this price. There is no included lens pouch, and even the box itself appears cheaper than what is usual for Pentax. The cardboard used to protect the lens in its box is serviceable, but fairly basic.

Warranty

Ricoh Imaging's warranty coverage depends on the country in which you purchase the lens. International warranties are no longer offered in any region due to legal and practical complications, but international service is available for a nominal fee as long as the lens was originally purchased from an authorized dealer in a different region and is still covered under the original warranty.

• In the US, the standard warranty is good for one year.
• In Canada and Europe, two years of coverage are included.
• In Australia, the warranty is good for one year.

The only requirement for warranty coverage is that you keep your receipts. No registration is necessary.

Please check with your local Ricoh Imaging dealer or representative for warranty information in other areas. Note that warranty service will only be honored for lenses purchased from authorized Pentax dealers.
