Pentax Image Transmitter 2
What's in the Box
Image Transmitter 2 is not available as a software download. Instead, it is shipped on a CD and generally sold as an accessory. We have seen occasional retailer promotions in which the software was included for free along with the Pentax 645Z.
In the box, you get the S-SW150A CD itself along with a single-sheet multilingual manual containing installation instructions (which equate to inserting the CD and launching the installer program).
The CD contains installation files in Japanese and English. It does not contain the manual, which can instead be downloaded from the Ricoh web site.
Box, software CD, and installation instructions
In the US and Canada, Image Transmitter 2 retails for $199. In Australia, it costs just over $300. In the UK, £159 is the price to pay. The price in the rest of the EU is €199. We have found that only one or two major stores in each country tend to carry the software, so it may be hard to track down.
