What's in the Box

The Pentax K-3 III comes with the following components and accessories inside its box:

  • The camera itself
  • Front Lens Cap (K II clip-on)
  • Fk hot shoe cover
  • Camera strap
  • Battery
  • USB-C cable and wall charger
  • Serial number card / warranty information / manual

The biggest difference with previous cameras is that the K-3 III does not ship with a dedicated battery charger. Rather, it allows charging directly in the camera via the USB-C port. The camera uses the same battery as several previous models (K-3, K-1) so users with a charger already in hand can use this.

Another difference is that the camera does not ship with a CD. The supplied editing software is saved inside the camera, and accessed via the USB-C port.

Warranty

Ricoh Imaging's warranty coverage depends on the country in which you purchase the lens. International warranties are no longer offered in any region due to legal and practical complications, but international service is available for a nominal fee as long as the lens was originally purchased from an authorized dealer in a different region and is still covered under the original warranty.

  • In the US, the standard warranty is good for one year.
  • In Canada and Europe, two years of coverage are included.
  • In Australia, the warranty is good for one year.

The only requirement for warranty coverage is that you keep your receipts. No registration is necessary.

Please check with your local Ricoh Imaging dealer or representative for warranty information in other areas. Note that warranty service will only be honored for lenses purchased from authorized Pentax dealers.
