What's in the Box
The accessories included with the K-50 are fairly similar to what you might see bundled with other DSLRs. In the box, you will find the following:
- The K-50 camera body itself
- Push-on body mount cap, mounted on camera
- Rechargeable battery (D-LI109)
- Battery charger (K-BC109)
- AC power cord, type varies by region
- USB cable (I-USB7)
- Hotshoe cover, mounted on camera (FK)
- Eyecup, mounted on camera (FR)
- Software CD (S-SW138)
- Neck strap (O-ST132)
- Manual, language varies by region
- Camera serial number card
If you purchased a lens kit, you will also find included:
- A SMC Pentax-DA L 18-55mm WR, or a SMC Pentax-DA 18-135mm WR, or both a SMC Pentax DA L 18-55mm WR and a DA L 50-200mm WR
- A generic DA-series lens manual
- For each lens
- Push-on rear lens cap
- Clip-on front cap
- Serial number card
Pictured below are the contents of a DA L 18-55mm WR lens kit:

With the exception of the more expensive 18-135mm lens kit, the lenses bundled with the K-50 do not come with cases.
