The Pentax Optio WG-2 features a brand-new 16-megapixel backlit sensor, full-HD and 60fps video recording, and other upgrades over its predecessor.  Of note are the following highlights:

  • Improved resolution (16MP vs 12MP)
  • Improved back LCD resolution (HVGA vs QVGA)
  • Additional macro LED (6 vs 5 lights)
  • Improved video (records in H.264 .mov format, 1080p at 30fps, 720p at 60fps)
  • New in-camera features and faster processing
