Shooting a Starscape

Intro

So you want to get a shot of the night sky to show stars, meteors, and/or the Milky Way?

It's not that hard but you will need a few basic items:

  • Camera (dSLR preferably, but anything that can shoot wide for 10-20s should work)
  • Sturdy Tripod
  • Wide angle lens (if not already part of your camera)
  • A good view of the sky in a place with as little ambient light as possible

K-x & Rokinon 8mm 20s f/3.5 ISO 3200 (3 meteors visible, can you see them?)
