Warranty
The Sigma 18-35 "Art" comes with a 4-year limited warranty (1 year standard + a free 3 year extension to register for online), three additional years over the paltry 1-year coverage offered by Pentax on their own lenses (or two additional years over the European and Canadian 2-year Pentax warranty). We don't expect any issues to bring your photographic pursuits with this lens to a halt, however the 4 years of coverage is certainly great for peace of mind.
We're confident worries of longevity and continued functionality should not be cause for anxiety should you decide to purchase this lens. We aren't the least bit concerned about it.
