As this is a DA-series lens, modern Pentax cameras will support in-camera lateral chromatic aberration correction when this lens is mounted.
Note that the 10-17mm's optics incorporate ED (Extra-low Dispersion) elements , which reduces chromatic aberrations, and a SP (super protect) coated front element, which makes it easier to clean and provides some resistance against the elements.
