Pinched Corners

See the pinched corners

This effect is commonly used in head shots or close up, but I encourage you experiment. Go out there, explore and try it out to see if you add this to any of your beautiful shots!

For this effect you will need:

-An old pantyhose

-Small thin rubber band

-An exacto knife

Here is what you are going to do:

Take the pantyhose, stretch it out, (the more you do the corners in the picture will seem just a little dim and the less you do the darker the corners will seem darker) and cover the lens with it.

Take you rubber band and use it to hold the pantyhose in its place over the lens.
Diagram

Then imagine a cross right in the center of the pantyhose covering the lens and cut from the center to the four points of the compass. Here is a diagram for you to see.

You can cut diagonally if you want. If you want cut the square seen in blue. Remember: try, experiment, and explore!
