Please do not trust the many misleading Biometar picture samples found in the internet, notably on flickr. These samples are very often mushy, have so poor contrast, poor colors, I'm even often wondering how the photographers did them.
This lens has in reality amazing contrast and micro contrast. It is as sharp as other lenses in this range (compared to Tamron 72BB and Pentax M 2/85). Colors are superb. Handling is top. Get it.

Pros: Sharp, compact, great colours and bokeh. Backlight, flare, ghosts resistant.
Cons: Pentacon Six - to K-mount adapter must be considered.

Excellent colours, bokeh and sharpness in very compact, cheap and easy to buy lens.

Today I tried some pictures in extreme condition - against direct light from a 100W flashbulb. No flare, and no ghosts at all.
I was impressed.
