Mine has a Pentax bayonet mount. I've only used it on a film camera. It's heavy, wide, and metal with very heavy glass and it feels like a magnificent piece of engineering; which it is. Smooth and easy function of all moving parts makes this a very comfortable focussing and adjusting lens across the focal and zoom range. The huge focal range manages good-to-very good images in terms of sharpness, colour resolution, warmth and aberration. The warm tones are wonderful. Beautiful multi-coating on the glass. Because so few reviews are available online, nobody wants this lens, so they are sometimes very cheap. Sadly, that makes some people think they are bad quality. Mine only cost $25 for a pristine used one in 2017 and it's one of my fave lenses. Build and ease of use is far better, or similar to, many Pentax A and M Series zoom lenses up to 80mm; and this lens extends further by quite a bit. Buy one, have fun, be serious, take photos. You'll be amazed how seriously good this lens is.
