Pros: Very light for a full metal lens
Cons: Average lens
Sharpness: 7    Aberrations: 9    Bokeh: 8    Handling: 9    Value: 7    Camera Used: Olympus E-PL2

Just an average lens.

It's been raining here for days now. Took few photos around. One can enlarge them see the sharpness.
I've use M43 camera- Olympus E-PL2 so the output can vary from other camera results.

Shot in natural and no extra sharpness. Resized.

Pros: Nice build, compact for an 135mm/f2.8, long throw ...
Cons: No Auto/Man switch, Nothing more until further tested

Bonjour,

Acquired this "Made in Japan" Helios 135mm f2.8 in a Zenit kit purchase via French evilBay.

Nice build and seems slightly above average so far (nope, see "Edit"), but need to get outside and test further.

Thus, a "7" straight across the board rating for the moment ... test images to come later.

Allez & salut, John le Frog

EDIT: After shooting a bit with this 135, I am a bit disappointed ... barely average results, not sharp ... thus lowering to a "6" rating ... will try again later, but not too enthusiastic here ... J

Some swirl ... ? Just kidding ...
