Pros: Price - Weight
Cons: Speed - Lack of coating

This lens actually is decent as a first long tele or one that will be used for the occasional long reach situation.
With perfect conditions it will take a decent CA/PF free image but it is not a * or limited lens but then again it is 1/50th of the price.

Pros: low price, not too heavy, good build quality
Cons: it is slow - only f/6.3, purple fringe

Good lens overall, I like it, especially for the price. Good first telephoto for somebody who never had 400 mm or longer lens. Decent image quality.

No significant color fringing
but my first tests shows different result.

100% crop

The last image is made with extension tubes (all 3 are made with K-x). The lamp ornament is about 3-4 meters away (50% crop).
I will soon go outside with my canon 7d to put the lens thru more serious test.
