This is a very good lens for the price, and as long as you don't expect it to be a Pentax M 50, you won't be disappointed. Its a wee bit soft wide open but performs very well in the mid range. Focus ring is firm, but not stiff, as is the aperture ring. The plastic lens cap leaves a lot to be desired and will be replaced with a generic before long.
