A great lens for the money. HSM works great, awesome build, IQ is awesome, and its light compared to the lens it replaced (Tokina 80-200 AT-X SD)
Downsides: The hood could be a bit bigger, wish they implemented the APS-c extension earlier, but not really that big of a deal. Has some CA, but not a deal-breaker.
bottom line: a great lens for the price, definitely getting a performance piece of glass, although i catch myself wishing i had the OS version from time to time (then i remember i'm broke and then its all good) |
