This is a "sleeper" among the 105mm lenses. I have about a dozen lenses in 105mm and this lens is in the top 3 optically. A hood is needed to help with contrast. While it isn't small compared to Taks, it isn't huge compared to some of the competition. It is one of the less common adaptamatics to find. There are a couple of m42 mounts available for these some of which are compatible with the Spot F, ES and ESII bodies. This is one of the last lens series designed without computers.
