| | I had only Leica-R lenses before I ordered this one, one week ago. I also have The Leica Elmarit-R 135/2.8 last version (order 11211, 730g) which is lovely thanks to Walter Mandler rendition. I love the Leica one.
But Mitakon Creator 135/2.8 (II) has not been overlooked either, with its high quality materials and flawless finish. Despite the criticism, the Mitakon is very good, nice colors, beautiful bokeh and reminds me the Leica-R lens. There is a new ED element for the new design of ver.II, nevertheless chromatic aberrations are still present @ f:4.0.. It doesn't realy matter... no communication between the camera and lens - no aperture coupling. But a bargain for the price, excellent built...
