Pros: Fast lense at 3.5, sharp at f11 and smaller up fast focus
Cons: Not as sharp at f3.5 but unless enlarged alot, not bad, long at full zoom (300)

I bought this on the road on a photo assignment,paid$322.00. I like the 28 to 300mm because you can use this for everyday and cover almost any need.
