It is a surprisingly good performer. Sharp wide open with neutral contrast and colors. Rendering is nice but...generic.
Bokeh can be busy which some will like, others won't.
It has a lot of plastic with metal strips glued on for distance scale and aperture. Focusing and aperture control just feel "plasticy" and loose.
It's not a Takumar, but for $3 it was a pleasant surprise.
