| | I only had a DA 55-300 in the 300mm range that I got for my K30. When I got a K1II, I wanted to find full-frame lens for that range. I found this on eBay for $11 plus shipping. I saw positive reviews on here and figured it would be worth a shot.
I am very pleasantly surprised.
Even without a hood I can get great shots in all levels of light. I don’t use autofocus a lot so it’s hard for me to comment on its ability to respond there. I’d say it’s not quite as good as my DA 55-300, but take that with a grain of salt.
I tend to shoot slightly dark and bring up the brightness and/or exposure a little bit in post if needed. I don’t shoot with anything higher than 800ISO and I’ve not had a problem shooting outdoors with it in that range.
Interesting note…it seems my camera usually thinks this is the DA 55-300. I thought there was a way to save lenses in the camera, but I can’t find it if there is.

| | I bought this lens because attracted by the price (€ 60) and build quality.
Compact lens, not too heavy built with solid and robust materials.
I did not want to spend too much, as I just approached photography, but my ideas are clear enough: my favorite subjects are animals and Moon. That's why I chose a lens with a 100-300mm focal length.
At the beginning I was not satisfied with the quality of the images, especially at 300mm they were blurred, even if I use the photographic tripod.
I documented and calmly, I adjusted AutoFocus fine on my Pentax positioning it at +10.
I must say that I am very satisfied with it now! The photos are very clear and I added the original Quantaray UV filter.
Here are some photos in my gallery:
This lens is perfect for those who want to get closer to photography, I recommend it so much!
I hope my review was helpful !!

| | I find this lens to be a great value for the 100-300FL it covers, and it is very lightweight. I do see some CA, particularly at 300mm, but overall, it takes great pictures for the price. Recommended.
