Was recommended this lens by a friend who had success with is copy. Overall I have found this to be a fun prime that I like to include in my regular lens lineup. The soft bokeh produces an effect that is no longer seen in portrait lenses. When wide open, it will produce a swirl of light rings radiating from the center of the image. My copy has a stiff, but workable focus, and its aperture works perfectly. For the price, this lens produces great results.

A fun lens to mess around with. Relatively useless wide open, but when stopped down it will produce sharp enough results. This is the second copy that I have come across as the 1st one I purchased had a noticeable haze issue that affected image quality. Not a lens I would include in my regular lineup, but still a solid oldschool zoom.

Lens came as a package deal with several other primes. Of all the lenses in that deal, this is the only one that I use consistently. Small, agile, metal bodied, and fast enough to get by. This lens is treat for being so low priced.
