Pros: usable at f1.4 (if there is no sunlight), sharp from f2, very sharp from f2.8 an on, great construction
Cons: everything is fine exept f1.4
Sharpness: 9    Aberrations: 9    Bokeh: 9    Handling: 10    Value: 10

DA 40 lim is on the shelf and this lense is on body almost all the time.
Dead sharp at f4. Resolves every pixel of 10Mp sensor of K-m and 12Mp of K-r.
CA are well controlled.
F1.4 is narrowly usable because of poor contrast and flare, unless you plan to convert photo to BW. But perfoms well in a soft light when there is no sun or other bright lights.
Never will sell it.
Compared this lense to M50/1.7. Well i have to say that Revuenon destroys Pentax prime at every aperture (i mean resolution). Even at F8 there is a visible difference at the corners (M50/1.7 has some softness. Of course it's not a softness comparing to zoom lense. But Revuenon sets unachievable tasks to M50/1.7).

Pros: Really sharp from 2.8, metal construction, feels really solid
Cons: Soft and fuzzy at 1.4, flare

Overall great lens, small size is great for travel.
