Rubinar Makro mirror 300mm F4.5
supersize

Description:
"Rubinar is a Soviet lens design series with long focal lengths, yet compact, developed and produced by JSC Lytkarino Plant of Optical Glass (LZOS).
Rubinars can be used with proprietary mount cameras by using M42 adaptors. Focusing motors are absent though (manual only), and so are the variable apertures." - wikipedia.

This fast and difficult to find mirror lens is something of a "cult classic".
Normally with M42 mount.
On some DSLR's mirror lenses are problematical to attach because the mirror housing comes up against the pentaprism housing of the camera.
Mount Type: M42 Screwmount

Pros: Quick to use, light, no CA, cheap for the quality.
Cons: Ring bokeh - I don't mind it, some do.

Nice, compact, easy to use and fairly cheap, although prices have risen. Typical Russian glass - understated, but will blow your socks off when you get it right. All the same it's easy to forget you're waving a 300mm lens about (450 effective mm) and the anti-shake helps a lot.
The K10D (and others') flash housing prevents a straightforward mounting, so it needs to be mounted on an extension piece and the focal point adjusted to the assembly.
