| | This was the first lens I bought for my Pentax K5 .
It's not a manual focus it's an autofocus lens (like the one You have pictured ).
It was brand new - old stock at almost a 1/3 of a price (the Nokon one costed around 550) .
It has very good bokeh at 135 mm and does some nice "macro" shots at the same lenght .
Light , short , with the diaphragm setting on it ....
Lens data are :
Lens construction 12-13
Min Aperture f.22
min. focus distance 24cm (9.4 in)
Magnification 1:2
Filter size 62 mm
Dimensions diameter 76mm (3.0 in) x lenght 75mm (3.0 in)
Weight 410g (14.5 oz)
Guess it's also due to a huge front element that makes a lot of light pass through . Much better than any 18-200 or similar lenses You can find around at a fraction of a price .
If it could have been constant f4 it would have been a 10, considering the price , for me is a 9 as it is .
It's one of the lenses I allways carry around except for the night shots where I take a tamron 28-75 2.8 and a sigma 70-200 f2.8 .
If You can find one copy of the lens (possibly new ) buy it it's a deal ...
