Pros: | Zoom Range, Compact size | Cons: | | | I originally got this lens confused with the other Sigma Hyperzoom 28-200mm (DL model) I noticed everyone complaining about zoom-creep and realized this was different model with essentially the same name. This lens features a twist zoom with a lock. Also came with 62mm bayonet mount hood, so the lens flare mentioned in the other reviews is not a problem. Based on the reviews of the other model it looks like sigma made significant improvements in this model.
This is a well constructed lens with a great focal length. Sharpness , color and contrast are great. IMO better than the Pentax-F 70-210mm (I also own) though both lens are soft wide open the Sigma sharpens quickly when stopped down just a bit.
