I bought this at Yodabashi in Tokyo, wrote that up here, because I wanted to do indoor shots and the *ist-D didn't have anti-shake.
Aside from being huge (heavier than the whole *ist-D body), I have been totally happy with this lens. Now that I've got a K20 I suspect it'll be mostly relegated to special-purpose situations, for example during the recent Earth Hour.
There's a bit of barrel distortion, but you'd really have to be picky to be irritated.
If you want a really fast prime for your pentax, I'm not sure there's a better one available.
