| | While waiting to get some 24-70/2.8 money, I couldn't skip this lovely little thing I found in a used hardware store. I was positively surprised overall.
Optically the lens performs well, if you take into account its age and the fact that its a film lens.
Sharpness is surprisingly good, but it doesn't really show up that much because of the low micro-contrast.
There is a tiny amount of purple fringe, chromatic aberrations are well controlled overall.
Bokeh is nothing special, but not too fussy.
What really bugs me is the overall haze of this lens. Nowadays its easy to remove it in post but still, it is a bummer to see it in the camera review.
