Overall this is a very suitable lens for entry level photographers who want to get a taste for 200mm but don't want to spend over $1000.
On digital camera, the aperture stop down switch can be a nuisance. I removed the spring inside the T4-PK mount adapter to convert the lens to basically a preset lens. This solves the 2-step stop down mechanism, but makes your viewfinder dark and hard to manual focus beyond f8.
Good for birds that sit still or don't move too fast, but if you are prepared, you can capture birds in flight too

Bonjour,
Just a quick review of yet another thrift store lens ... I have only tested indoors and based upon that I'd give this lens a "6" overall ... and that could be generous rating at best. Not a lot to write about it at the moment, but will test again outdoors and resubmit some images ...
