Pros: Handling, construction, color rendition, price
Cons: soft, white-yellow cast

Definite yellow-white cast over the image but after correction provides great color rendition. Great build quality and affordability. Not particularly sharp at any aperture but good enough stopped down.

Pros: build, precision of focus adjust, excellent bokeh, good results on work against the light
Cons: for this price I not see any cons
Sharpness: 8    Aberrations: 8    Bokeh: 9    Handling: 9    Value: 10    Camera Used: Pentax K-5 IIs

My Soligor originally have FD (Canon) mount. I changed it for M42 screw mount. It's a mint condition and generates very good pictures.
It's a picture from K-5 IIs and vide open Soligor.

Pros: solid build, smooth fine-adjust manual focus, metal K-mount
Cons: non as convenient to use as an A-mount
Handling: 9    Value: 9    Camera Used: Pentax K-5 II

This is posted for a fixed Pentax K mount lens (non T4-mount) that looks in some ways similar to the one listed above. See photos. Wasn't sure if it should have a separate listing so just showing photos for now. There must have been both T-mount and fixed K-mount versions marketed.

Soligor 28mm F/2.8 Wide-Auto MC Lens
Made in Japan
Mount: PK version
Filter diameter: 58mm
Focus ring: 270 degrees rotational throw, moderately firm and smooth
Aperture ring: 1/2 stop detent "clicks" except full stops at F2.8 and F16,F22

Lens has a nice solid metal build that feel similar to M42 Takumar lenses.
At this time, I wanted to post photos showing this lens. Rating is based on build and being K-mount instead of T-mount. (to be updated later after further testing)

Cons: None thus far ...

Bonjour,

This is a "T4" mount system lens which came with a "Px" or M42 thread mount (see photos below), and I picked it up at a local swap meet (Montamisé - France).

Overall decent IQ, sharpness, bokeh, but nothing fantastic either. Worthy of an initial "7" rating until further test shots and real world shots can be done.

Allez et bon courage, John le Frog
