There appears to be 2 versions of the f5.6 400mm soligors that succeeded the 400mm f6.3's. One version has 38xxxx serials and is reviewed here. This review page is for the pictured version with 7xxxxx serials. Not clear who made either. Both fixed mounts unlike the typically t-mount "chrome-eared" f6.3's.
There also exists soligor 400mm f5.5's, these are t-mount lenses from the 1960's, both Txxxx ( = tamron 340) and Hxxxx serials, need own review pages.
