Pros: | Not too much distortion, sharp enough | Cons: | In darkness conditions (inside), can only be used with a cobra flash | | I've just bought this lens shot a couple of pictures with it. With only the restriction described in cons, it is really a good lens, very sharp (as usual with Tamron). This is my second Tammy lens and more or less with the same 2 main qualities :
- quite fast mechanical system even if not USM/HSM
- good at wide aperture and sharp if close 1/2 stops
Already very happy with this lens even if i think that prices are very high in Europe in comparison with US.

Pros: | Very wide angle of view in its class, clarity/sharpness | Cons: | Why don't pentax make one!! | | Can't fault it, but I am relatively new. Very straight lines at 109 degree view, barely needs correction compared with a fish eye. And this lens is the closest I could find to the Pentax 10 - 17 for a straight lens.

Pros: | Compact size, weight, fast focus range | Cons: | not cheap | | Very short time experience with this lens, but it has already made me wish that I had bought it a week earlier so that I could have used it in Alaska. Images so far are very sharp and I like the way that the lens and the K20D work seem to work together. I've busted the budget this week, but am looking towards a long relationship with the lens and camera.
