Picked this up pristine at an online auction. A lovely item - a little soft at 4.5, but very very good by f/8, even at 350mm. Not sure why Tamron did not call this an SP lens. It certainly merits it.

Pros: f4.5 throughout, tripod ring, built-in hood, turn zoom not push-pull, solid like a tank
Cons: Heavy, 82mm filter ring
Sharpness: 9    Aberrations: 8    Bokeh: 8    Handling: 8    Value: 10

As an avid manual focus lens user, this one was no surprise. Used with a tripod on a K7 with a katzeyes focusing screen, it is sharp.
