| | This is an extremely compact lens, not much bigger than my 40mm pancake.
Has what seems to be a lovely colour rendition.
Have just taken a few photos and am staggered by what I think is the superb bokeh. This shot is handheld, 1/250th, ISO 640, no processing whatsoever using the reversal film filter in the K5.
Have not yet tried to shoot at anything above F 2.8 | |

Pros: | Accurate colour rendition with a pleasant slight saturation, almost a pancake in size, fairly deeply recessed at front, so hardly needs a hood. | Cons: | Not very fast, Deckel adaptor is a pain (and was pricey, but cheaper now) and lens prone to a slight flare if allowed. | Sharpness: 8
Aberrations: 8
Bokeh: 8

| | This lens came with a Bessamatic, along with an S-K 135/4 and a 28/4, both of which are pretty good, so the poor old standard lens got forgotten about for a while.
I dug it out and gave it a whirl and was pleasantly surprised by its colour rendering - that'll be why it's called 'Color Skopar', then.

You can see the flare at the top left, where the strong sunlight crept in. The lens has a deeply-recessed front element which I thought avoided the need for a hood, but this showed me a hood is always a good idea. rural-decay-shop-w-father-and-child by Lensosaurus, on Flickr kickham-street-truck by Lensosaurus, on Flickr dead-pub by Lensosaurus, on Flickr tree-stumps by Lensosaurus, on Flickr river2 by Lensosaurus, on Flickr
