Description:
Can be force fitted on to PK mount, but loss of far focus due to large registration difference.

Last image shows a "felt spacer" that was created to fill to void between lens mount and PK camera mount.

Bonjour,

Again, another lens that should not "fit" a PK mount, but that never really stopped me ... An excellent Voigtlander Color-Ultron /1.8 (in Rollei QBM) that I swapped for at Poitiers' annual photo expo ... Got it for a song along with a Carl Zeiss Planar 50/1.8, also in QBM.

Due large registration difference, far focus is not much more than about 1 meter ... no problem for me since I will be using it for "close" applications.

I have created a rudimentary hard felt spacer to fill in the gap between the end of the lens mount and the beginning of the PK DSLR mount. This helps to better "center" the lens, makes things more stable and removes any possible light leak complications, etc.

Below is an image on the K-5 with the hard felt spacer, an Amaryllis @ f2.8 and a "high noon" test shot which was pretty much wide open. More and better images to come later ...

Allez et salut, John le Frog
